Viewify Privacy Policy

What We Collect

When you connect your YouTube channel to Viewify, we access the following data via Google's YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API, using read-only permissions:

• Channel statistics (subscriber count, total views, video count)
• Video metadata (titles, thumbnails, publish dates, view counts)
• Audience retention data for videos on your own connected channel

We also collect account information you provide directly: your email address, and any content you create within Viewify (saved keywords, scripts, calendar entries, brand profile information).

How We Use Your Data

We use this data solely to provide Viewify's features to you: showing your channel analytics, generating personalized content suggestions, and powering tools like Retention X-Ray. We do not use your YouTube data for any purpose other than delivering the features you've requested within the app.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We do not share your YouTube data with third parties except as necessary to operate the service (e.g. our hosting and AI processing providers), and never for advertising purposes.

Google User Data

Viewify's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use YouTube data to provide and improve Viewify's user-facing features, and do not use it to train generalized AI/ML models.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your connected YouTube data only as long as your account remains connected. You can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time from Settings, which revokes our access and deletes stored tokens. You may request full account deletion by contacting us at support@viewify.app, after which your data will be deleted within 120 days.

You can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time via Settings. You can request a copy of your data or request deletion by contacting us at support@viewify.app

Security

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encrypted storage of authentication tokens and restricted backend access.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
